Matilda Wood
& Lachlan Weber
Welcome to our wedding website – so glad you could make it!
This website should serve as an information hub for our upcoming celebration. Please check in closer to the date as it will be updated.
We are so incredibly excited to share this special day with our favourite people – a big thanks for all of your love and support.
See you on the 08/06/2024!
We acknowledge all First Nations peoples of the past, present, and future and would like to pay respect to the Darkinjung land on which we are having this wedding upon and it’s people.
Please note:
Unfortunately, due to strict venue numbers, only the names given on the invitation may reserve a place at the wedding. While we love you all, it just is not possible to include everyone’s children and partners.
We would love to see you there!
Please RSVP ASAP

Dress Code
We ask that all guests come in formal wear for both the ceremony and reception. The wedding colours are autumnal, and guests are more than welcome to dress to fit that theme, but are not expected to.
However, it is important to remember that we will be having our celebration on a winter evening on a farm, so it will be cold. Primarily, the focus should be on comfort.
If you wish to bring any comfort items such as blankets, hot water bottles, headphones or fidget toys, please feel free to do so.
Need Help?
Before the wedding all enquiries and requests should be discussed with Matilda and Lachlan at:
0415 074 878 (via messaging) or m8ilda@gmail.com
During the wedding, however, Matilda and Lachlan will not be in charge of any concerns or queries.
We are lucky enough to have a lovely bridal party to help and love us. These gorgeous people will be in charge of assisting the bride and groom, co-ordinating each group for the photography, helping with any administrative questions, helping you find your seats and be the contact people for any general concerns of questions guests, vendors or others may have.
Transport
There is some parking on site, but it is limited, so please do consider carpooling. Unfortunately, our host has let us know that taxis, even if booked in advance, won't be able to come to the venue. There also won't be any rideshare services available in the area.
If you have any concerns regarding transport to and from the venue, please let Matilda know ASAP and she will try to organise something for you.
When at the venue, it is important to note that it is a farm and appropriate care should be taken when moving around. We won't be having any activities or events far from each other but there may still be animals and other natural elements to accommodate.

Menu
We thought having our first meal with our family as a married couple should reflect us.
We wanted comfort and sharing.
As such, we will be have our meal in the form of shared platters running down the middle of the tables. This means that people will be able to take what they want and leave what they don't, but also better allows us to accommodate for everyone's dietary requirements.
If you do have any dietary requirements, please let Matilda know.
For drinks, we will have a bar with RSA staff. Our venue has a no shot policy. Guests can not bring their own alcohol. If any drugs are brought, the event will be cancelled.
Registry
Truly, your presence is the only gift we desire.
If you do feel as if you would like to give us a gift, however, we will have a wishing well at the reception. As many of you know, Lachlan and Matilda have been living together since 2021. We have everything our little apartment could ever possibly fit - for which we are so grateful. We are hoping to buy a house in the future and would love some help reaching that goal.
We understand that some people feel more comfortable giving tangible gifts. For this reason, we have created a wish list. We are strongly passionate about supporting small business but also ensuring practicality in our lives, so registering at one place was difficult and we thought this would be useful.
